Tammy Dunn

Miss Tammy Jo Dunn, 58, of Linden, passed away Friday June 19, 2026. She was born in Linden to the late Joe Thomas Dunn and Mildred Ann Miller Dunn. She had last worked at Ward's One Stop as the Kitchen Manager/Cook. She had also worked at Johnson Controls and Fisher & Co. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter and granddaughter. She looked forward to seeing and talking to everyone she met through her work. She loved to aggravate everyone, enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and sitting outside on her porch. She also loved her dog Anna.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her son-in-law Blake Ayers.

Survivors include her daughter Ashley Ayers of Linden, a granddaughter Blakelyn Ayers, a sister Jackie Whitt Baker of Linden, brothers Jimmy (Kathy) Whitt of Linden and Johnny (Barbara) Whitt of Mt. Pleasant, nieces Danielle (Brandon) Clark and Mindy Haynes, nephews John (Amber) Whitt, Seth Whitt and Daniel Qualls, several great-nieces and nephews and other loving family members and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home for burial expenses.
