Tommie Sharp Parnell

Ms. Tommie Ruth Sharp Parnell, 91, of Linden passed away Sunday June 5, 2022 at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born in Linden to the late Mayhugh Sharp and Anna Mae Garner Sharp. She was a graduate of Linden High School. Ms. Tommie was retired from Johnson Controls/Fisher & Company where she had worked for 20 years, she had also worked for 35 years at Washington Manufacturing Corporation in Linden. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and crocheting. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Paul Parnell, brothers J.W. Sharp and James Sharpe.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law Melba Sharp and Reba Sharpe both of Linden, nieces Karen (Boyd) Werfel of Waverly and Terri Sharp of Linden, a nephew Tim Sharp of Linden, great-nieces Krystal (Edgar) Santana of Papillion, Nebraska, Stacie Werfel of Nashville and Sam Sharp of Hendersonville, a great-nephew Thomas (Ashton) Werfel of Oxford, Mississippi, great-great-niece Finley Beth Werfel, great-great-nephews Benjamin Santana and Walter Werfel and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
