Velma Holt Ledbetter

Ms. Velma Holt Ledbetter, 87, of Hohenwald, formerly of Linden, passed away Monday November 7, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born in Linden to the late Johnie Holt and Thelma Mercer Holt. She had worked for Southern Bell as a telephone operator for several years and as a Sales Clerk at Drapery Discount Store. She was a member of the Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church. She loved shopping and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Ledbetter, a daughter Gwendolyn Ledbetter and brothers Walton, Chuck, Jim and Paul Holt.

Survivors include her children Dara (Dwayne) Williams of Hohenwald and Ricky (Lori) Ledbetter of Greenbrier, grandchildren Nicholas (Ashley) Ledbetter, Shannon (Caleb) Thomas and Emily Williams, great-grandchildren Evana Thomas and Zoey Ledbetter and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
