Vernon Duncan

Mr. Vernon Hobson Duncan, 94, of Linden passed away Saturday November 27, 2021 at Lewis County Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Linden to the late Willie Hobson Duncan and Nola Davis Duncan. He was retired from Kyle International Harvester Company in Nashville, Tn. He was a member of the Flatwoods Church of Christ and a member of the Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Edith Duncan, sisters Virginia Butler and Doris Harlow and a brother Joe Duncan. 

Survivors include his son Steve (Shirlean) Duncan of Murfreesboro, grandson Christopher Duncan, granddaughter Jenipher Cooper, step-granddaughter Elizabeth (A.C.) Davis, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughters, a brother Herchel Duncan, numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.

The family has requested that all in attendance for the visitation period and service to wear a mask and observe all social distance guidelines.
