Mr. Victor Duncan, 61, of Linden, passed away Thursday October 10, 2024. He was born in Linden to Janice Marie Inman Duncan and the late Tom Duncan. He was a graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin, Tn., MTSU in Murfreesboro and Murry State, in Kentucky. Victor obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History and his Associates Degree in Nursing. He worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, always in Nursing Homes, where he cared deeply for his patients and took on the role of father, husband, son and grandson to his patients as was needed to make them calm, happy and secure. He had last worked at Perry County Nursing Home until his health prevented him from working. Victor loved God, with God being first and was a prayerful man.
In addition to his father, Tom Duncan, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents Herman and Irene Simmons Inman and Alvin and Beulah Smith Duncan.
Survivors in addition to his mother Janice Inman Duncan of Linden, include his wife Andrea York Duncan, a daughter Caralynn Duncan of Camden, grandchildren Leia Sifrit and Kenny Curtis, a brother-in-law Thomas York of Chicago, IL., nephews Eric, Ryan and Tommy York, the Godfather of Patience and Gracie Jennings and Scotty Duncan, and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
