Wanda Choate Stoltz

Wanda Faye (Choate) Stoltz, age 71, of Linden, TN, passed away on January 25, 2024, in Linden. She was born on July 10, 1952, in Linden to the late Sarah and Oneil Choate.  She grew up in the Sugar Hill and Bethel communities in Perry County.   Wanda was a kind and gentle soul beloved by friends and family. She had an infectious smile and laugh that was certain to lift the spirits of people she met.

Wanda graduated from Perry County High School in 1970.  She worked in the garment industry at Washington Manufacturing in the 70’s and 80’s.  She loved the home she built and shared with her husband, Larry, on Marsh Creek near Linden.  She enjoyed nature, animals, and fishing.

Wanda will be deeply missed by her family.  She is survived by her husband Larry Stoltz (Linden); brother, Tim Choate (Murfreesboro);  nephew, Chason Choate (Thompson Station); niece, Kelsey Choate (La Vergne); niece, Jessica Culp (Portland, OR); nephew, Matthew Culp (Memphis); niece, Shonda Pevahouse (Nashville); niece, Rhonda Boyd (Culleoka); nephew, Tony Higdon (Parsons).

 

Wanda is preceded in death by her mother; Sarah Choate, her father; Oneil Choate, her infant brother; David Oneil Choate, her sister; Karen Culp, and her sister Judy Choate.
