Ms. Wanda Craig Vaughn, 84, of Linden, was born March 29, 1938 in Perry County to the late Roger and Melvina Vaughn Craig. Ms. Wanda was loved by many people and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed socializing and talking. She was a member of the Linden Church of Christ. Wanda worked at the Perry County School System for many years and thoroughly enjoyed it. She also worked at Linden Apparel, Plant 1 for many years. Wanda was devoted to Holly Jr. and Kira Godwin and family for many years, as she lovingly took care of them and their home. She became a member of the family with her loving care. She also volunteered at the Perry County Nursing Home and playing bingo with the residents was one of her favorite things to do. At home, working on word search books was a favorite past time.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Florence Vaughn of Linden, Janda and Sheila Vaughn both of Nashville, her sons Vincent (Veronica) Vaughn and Steven Vaughn both of Linden, brothers Billy Ray (Darlene) Yarbro of Linden, Valentine Craig of Nashville, a sister Jewell (James) Majors Sharpe of Nashville, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, dear friends Rosemary Turnbow, Julia Godwin and Holly Turnbow Warren and a host of other loving family and friends.
