Mr. William Buren Daniel, 87, of Linden, passed away peacefully Monday December 29, 2025 with his loving family by his side in Lobelville. He was born in Cleveland, Mississippi to the the late Van Buren Daniel and Ludie Cooper Daniel. He was retired from Turney Center where he worked as Wood Shop Supervisor for 30 years. He loved anything to do with horses no matter if it was riding, training them or teaching others how to ride. He enjoyed going on trail rides at different places but especially enjoyed going to Eminence, Missouri twice a year. He once did a cross country trail ride to raise awareness for Down Syndrome. The ride started at David Crockett State Park in Lawrenceburg and ended at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. William especially loved teaching his children and grandchildren about horses.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers Ertis, Harold and Jake Milum.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years Betty Phillips Daniel, a sister Mary Alice "Tootsie" Melton, his children William R. "Billy" (Colleen) Daniel, Theresa (Kevin) Ralph and Van Daniel, grandchildren Kellie Morrow, Kristy (Chris) Pedersen, Matthew (Mary) Daniel, Blaine (Hanna) Daniel, Justin Daniel and Ashley Weems, great-grandchildren Ethan Morrow, Spencer Morrow, Katelyn Morrow, Maelyn Daniel, Ashlyn Pedersen, Jinkston Daniel and Cameron Weems and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
