To Deborah and Family: Jerry and I had many precious fellowship times with Kent over many years, working with him, and continuing the friendship over the years. Kent was an upbeat personality and we had many laughs with him. I have some gifts he gave me from time to time and will be thinking of him each time I view these things. I am convinced he is in Heaven saying hello to my loved ones.

Dad I will be missing you every day of every year until i see you again in God's place of peace and love. You filled my heart with joy and you went far too soon, but i'm happy you are no longer in pain and you are at peace now. Words can't express how much you meant to me and how much I loved you. R.I.P. until the day i see you again!

We will miss you very much. We remember when Deb first told us about you. She said she found her true love! We knew you were good for Deb and we would not have to worry about her anymore the minute we met you. We were also so happy to know you were a Christian and anyone who met you knew how much you loved the Lord and Deb and your family. Now we know you are safe in the arms of Jesus and no more suffering and no more tears, and though we will miss you, one day, those of us who know Jesus as our personal Savior will see you again! That is Gods promise of Eternal Life to us! Praise God!....John 3:16

I was so saddened when I heard that Bro. Kent had passed. He was the nicest man and such an example for everyone. No matter how sick he was he wanted to be in church. We prayed for a healing for him and when I got the message from Bro. Rick that he had passed I thought " ok, I guess that wasn't God's plan for him" . Then it hit me ....He now has the ultimate healing ! I thank God for that and I thank God for having put Bro. Kent in our lives . He was an example of faith during adversity and true love for God. We are praying for you Sister Debra. May God bless and comfort you and your family.

Kent was God's man and a man's man. He believed in protecting his family and defending our country's founding principles. I believe he could say with Paul, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful." And, like Paul, he has now entered into his eternal reward. His legacy will live on, and memories will remain precious to those who loved him. Praying for comfort and peace for Deborah and family members.

I am so very sorry to hear Kent has left us. We used to live next door to each other in Crystal Beach Florida. Kent and Debbie were the best neighbors. Their daughter and my son often played together. My heart goes out to the Bissell family. Kent has his wings and driving fast cars in heave. I am sure he is watching down the entire family. God bless and God speed. xo

My wife and I were so saddened to hear this evening of Kent's passing. We only met him once when we briefly visited with him and Jerry Morris; but, immediately, we felt that he was such a gracious man.
We both remember fondly, how excited he became and how he so wished his wife, Debbie, had been there the day we visited. We all had a great laugh about his excitement when he found out that both my wife and I had heard about, and knew the story about, his ancestor, Israel Bissell.
As we were leaving, Kent said repeatedly how he wanted us to be sure and come back again for another visit so we could meet his wife. We would still like to do that one day, but we will miss our new-found friend, Kent.
May God bring Peace and Love to his family.

Kent Vauclain Bissell, 63, of Lobelville, TN passed from life to life to be home with our Lord on November 14, 2017 in Nashville, TN.

Kent was born in Stamford, CT on October 31, 1954 and spent his early years in Clearwater, Florida, graduating in 1972 from Largo High School, Largo, Florida. Kent has two sons from his previous marriage to Mary George Federspiel and a step daughter who he considered his own.
