Mr. Kent Vauclain Bissell, 63, of Lobelville passed away Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tn. He was born in Stamford, Connecticut to the late William Cullen Morris Bissell, Sr. and Mary Fay Vauclain. Kent spent his early years in Clearwater, Florida, graduating in 1972 from Largo High School, Largo, Florida. He spent his career in house construction, manufacturing industry and property management. He loved the Lord and his church and staunchly defended constitutional rights. Kent enjoyed Nascar racing immensely and tinkering around the house with a hammer.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by brothers William Cullen Morris Bissell, Jr. and Arthur E. Johnson. Survivors include his wife Deborah Sherman Bissell, sons Kent V. Bissell, Jr. and David Bissell both of Old Town, FL., a daughter Kristin (Ross) Paterson of Fults, IL., a grandson Trysten R. Johnson, a sister Connie Swindell of Marion, NC. and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
